Need help guys, I've been doing SS for around 1 1/2 years now (had many breaks, because I'm a lazy fuck) but recently have been taking lifting a bit more serious again.
Well and I'm hitting a plateau and deloaded twice already - what should I do now?
Switch programs? Texas Method, 531, Greyskull LP, ICF?
Up my calories? Eating around 2000 - 2100 kcal at the moment and am getting enough sleep
171cm, 74kg slightly overweight manlet
Last sucessful sets
112.5 kg 3x5 Squats
47.5 kg 3x5 OHP
67.5 kg 3x5 Bench
130 kg 1x5 Deadlift
Numbers seem pretty low, my goals when starting SS were reaching 1/2/3/4 with it... realistic or nah?
Deloaded twice in squatting I mean
Make sure you're getting enough food, sleep, and rest between lifts (between sets, and between lifting sessions).
They look intermediate for your weight group mate. Try eating more, if you still stall, I'd hop on dat der Texas

Scratch that, get your presses up boy
you need more food, and all your numbers are too low. you can move on to an intermediate routine, but your problem of not eating enough and not doing the program correctly will follow you whatever routine you choose.

Alright, thanks!
So basically I should up my calories by let's say 250 kcal?

if you're couting then yeah, just up them gradually until you start moving again. I doubt you'll get a 4 plate deadlift, but 1/2/3/3.5 or something is realistic and actually quite common on SS. or I should say, common among people who do the program correctly, but that's actually not that common.

>all your numbers are too low
No, they're not.
People are different.
This is the reason newbies plateau and burn themselves out trying to run a LP when they shouldn't.

Read Practical Programming for Strength Training by the same Mr Rippetoe. He explains what to do after you finish SS. Thank me later.

Holy shit dude, I'm your size and weight and started out with 45 kg OHP and 65 BHP
