Same happened to me on my first and maybe second cut.
It's surprising how much volume is actually just plain fat.

Try not to waste time getting fatter too fast on bulks.

I usually cut down to about bottom right "expectation" before I flipped back to bulk.
Stopping the bulk higher than "what I got", but lower than the left side.

Yes. A huge amount of the loss is water weight man, you can expect to lose 7-20lbs in like 2weeks. The moment you carb back up you're glycogen stores will get replenished and you'll gain weight again. You didn't do it long enough.

Its not something that "works". Its something you do until you no longer think about it, a habit if you will. There is no magic method, think lifting, its hard at first but you keep your discipline until it becomes habit, lifestyle. Just keep doing it, back straight and shoulders squared. Its unpleasant for first couple weeks or months but eventually you forget about it. Thats what self improvement is, all determination and discipline until it becomes a habit and thus a part of your lifestyle.

I disagree with the anons ITT.

I think you have a big problem losing fat and holding on to muscle because you dont have enough muscle. You need muscle to spare and also having more lean muscle means better cut. I have to be the devil's advocate and say that you should bulk. Looking at you and your ability to do crash diets I would say just crash again later on once you have more lean body mass. >>36520950 kek 124 lbs. of lean body mass, so if you are at a respectable body fat you will be like 130-135 lbs. roughly the weight of my GF that was 130 lbs. at her fattest (INB4 fat, she is 5'10")

[tl;dr] go to a slow bulk to 17% Body fat, cut down to 15%, go back up to 17% and so on
