Today i went for a regular check up my doctor told me i was 5'10 but for about a year i have told everysingle one i was 6ft tall and i never got challenged about my height.
Sure it breaks my heart knowing i am not 6ft tall but everyone believes i am 6ft tall and my license says 6ft tall. In the end there really isnt much of a difference between 6ft and 5'10 to people outside of /fit/

I work in the hospital, I use one of those height things on the wall (they have a slider so you get the exact height) and I hit exactly 6"0. I used to believe I was 6"1.
Most people lie about their height or have no idea what their height is. If I had to guess most people overestimate their height by 1-2 inches.
Anyway it is noticeable. It's only really hard to tell when it is a 1 inch difference. If you are say 5"11 you can get away with saying you are 6"0 easy, or if you are 6"1 you can get away with saying you are 6"2. Two inches it's a lot harder to do.
