I'm trying to improve both. Doing one long slow 10k per week, plus two 5k's.
Also doing Greyskull LP, except with weekly progression.
Run 5k's AM on lifting days, lift PM. 10k is its own day.
Best 5k is about 24:00. But that time has gotten worse over the past couple weeks. The day 28:00 about killed me. My legs constantly feel wrecked, even though I'm only squatting 185lbs 3x5.
Wat do? Trying to get my 5k down to 21:00 is my primary goal. Lifting is secondary but I want to have a strength base as well because I don't want to snap my shit at SFAS during the rucks.
