No motivation thread? I'll start

>If it were easy, everyone would do it. It ain't easy, but it's worth it.
I normally really like motivational, but they never really stick with me. When I'm puffed and want to quit I repeat this. When I'm burning in my lasts sets I repeat this. It just kinda stuck with me. I'm sure it's a combination of shit insightful people came up with.

For me it's these:
>When you think about quitting, remember why you started.
>No man has a right to be an amateur in terms of athletic ability. What a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without seeing the wonders of which his body is capable. (Slightly paraphrased but can't remember exact wording).
>Unlike a material possession, no one can ever take away our athletic capabilities. They can destroy it yes, but never will they make it their own.

who said this?

But what makes a socializing any better than posting on /fit/? Is it really more fun?
>>36507761
Similar to this, my favorite is "I didn't tell you it was wasy, I told you it was worth it"
Can't find the infographic for it tho. It had an exit sign in the background and was white writing
^^^ should say easy, my bad
>muh big muscles
>I'm so great
You're not curing cancer you mongs. Why do you need motivation for a hobby?
>>36509598
Because it's fun, faggot

Fight me!

Possibly a think-tank of marketing executives.

You don't really get much oxytocin and seratonin from /fit/. It can occupy your rational mind but there are other instincts and needs which can't be satisfied through a website.

This board is full of jealousy about things that can't be changed, let alone earned (eg genes).

Yeah, that ended well for his men and Carthage.

Curiously if you translate "veni vidi vici" over (via Google) it looks different to that picture, which is a translation of the english "I came. I saw. I conquered".
