I did something to the distal end of my left vastus medialis on Monday, and while it's feeling significantly better already, I still can't do a bodyweight squat 100% pain free and am therefore still on the shelf.
About the only thing I do that DOESN'T heavily involve that muscle is OHP, and I just don't care enough to go to the gym just for OHP, especially when even OHP is going to take resources in my body away from healing whatever pissy little injury I've developed.
The plan is to hop back on the weekly program I'm on on Monday, with the same weights I was SUPPOSED to do this week. Which is a "go" if my knee isn't noticeably aching by then.

I'm resting to recover. My elbow on the left side is fucked up real bad. I'm not sure what I did to it, but I'm gonna deload my bench and ohp and work on my form. Either way it's been fucked up for a few days now and it's in a way that really any upper body exercise will fuck it up. I guess I could go do some stairmaster.
anyone know how long i should rest my elbow for? It's the tendon on the tricep side that's fucked up.
