I bench press 1 pl8, and squat almost 1pl8. (10reps for both).

Just started lifting again and I had the same problem. I warm up with 25's before I start squats and it feels heavy af. After adding another 90 lbs it feels just as heavy but im able to do it.

It's weird that what helped my bench sky rocket was implementing squats and deadlifts into my brosplit. Once those got up i just overall got stronger.
