Because I'm not a child that needs the instant gratification. I'm not against augmenting yourself, if there's a point to it, but just using a mechanical crutch because you're too much of a slob to put in the effort is just pathetic. It's the same shit as pretending to be a different sex, if you're really not. Also cardiovascular exercise is really important and lifting does shit to my hormonal levels, that makes me feel so much better. Also you'd have to augment your whole body or you would take your spine to snap city all the time.

You need to pick the right augs and not be afraid to run and shit. I played both Deus Ex and Deus Ex HR first time as direct confrontation and both were fairly enjoyable.

As for major muscle groups, I'd only do it if the enhancements were so commonplace that I'd be at a disadvantage among the majority of people I encounter. I don't want to be held up and unable to defend myself when augmented crime came about
