Sup /fit/

My TDEE comes out to around 2500 as a 5'8, 165 pound manlet. I'm trying to do SL but I don't know if my macros are fucked or not. I'm trying to eat at maintenance, but do HIIT to cut very slowly.

If I do 1 g of protein per pound of body weight, how do I split my macros between carbs and fats?

That might be right depending on job. I know my TDEE at 5'10" 165 is 2100 and I have a desk job. My TDEE used to be something like 3000-3500 when I used to deliver beer. It was stacking cases of beer, kegs, etc. both to and down stairs.

Up your fat, cut protons and carbs a bit imo.

This times 1000

2g per lb is what protein companies tell you

Carbs are fine. Protein is too high, and fats are too low. Up our fats to 30% and lower protein to 30%. Also, why are you eating at maintenance if you want to cut? The calculator might be inaccurate, and your food measurements will be inaccurate. Set your daily goals to lose 1/2 lb a week and eat at a deficit. Diet is the most important part to losing weight.

Too much protein my man especially if you're allready fatter. And I usually eat 10-20% more carbs than fat

Also when doing TDEE dont put in your excerise or whatever. It will give you a better idea of where you wanna be at. Especially if you are cutting. Your cut will go faster and smoother.
Like the other guy said 2500 at your weight and height on a cut.
> no

6'0" tall, 211 lbs., trying to lose weight at a moderate/aggressive rate while still being safe.

Is 40/30/30 good as far as carbs/protein/fat respectively (comes out to 180g carbs, 135g protein, 60g fat)? Is 1800 calories an okay amount? It's a 23% deficit or so.

This is before calculating any exercise in because I only just started couch to 5k literally today, and haven't done any upper body stuff whatsoever.
