I met a woman who has been a barista for 11 years and didn't understand the concept of extraction.
Almost every person I meet doesn't care about what they're doing or how to get better at it. They care about the results. They spend literally their whole life not caring about who they become as a person. They only care about what they have.
Learning isn't about having the answers. It's about becoming better. Learning is hard because learning must be hard.
