Because I don't train endurance running. There's also a decent chance it would do damage to my knees because my dad has bad knees and I played ice hockey for several years. I mean, I might be able to run 27 marathons in as many days after a year or two of training, but I wouldn't count on it. Typically I currently run 5km several times a week, with times ranging from 22 minutes on the faster days to 35 when I take I slow (I usually run this 6 days a week though).
