Not OP but im interested in what a deload week entails.
Articles suggested varying things from not working out at all to lifting at 50% max.
Can you provide some anecdotal stuff about a deload week?

How long is spring break? A week, two? If your gains can be lost that quickly, you didn't have any to begin with.

Last time I did a deload week I reduced lifts to 75% normal levels and replaced it with some bodyweight work.
At the end, my lifts didn't immediately go up, but they felt stronger at the weight I left off on, and went up 10lbs after 2/3 weeks

Nice! I've only been lifitng for just over a month now, I'm guessing this is something that you should do more around the time I start to plateau.
Right now my lifts are increasing linearly every week.
