if you observe the video closely, this is at a trade show, and she's using some kind of machine that automatically leg presses "for" her. I don't understand what the point of this machine existing would be, maybe some kind of therapeutic thing?

She locks out and the machine pushes backwards because it's on a timer or something. A member of the public should have never been allowed to use the machine, and I'm sure by now that lady has sued that company off the face of the earth.

don't lift as hard if you're still sore from the previous session (a little sore is OK but if you can barely walk and you plan to do a whole bunch of squats - bad idea. at least reduce weight a bit if you insist on continuing)

Apparently it healed without a scar in 2 or 3 weeks though.

When you turn your hand over you expose the bicep to stretching. Once you get up in weight the muscle's connectivity fails and tears.

Best ways to avoid it is 1) to straighten your supinated till it hurts a little, turn your elbows inward and flex the triceps 2) curls to strengthen the muscle belly and tendons 3) stretching to keep from letting them get tight.

Or you could just hook grip. Or you could just be a man instead of a pussy. Any person with decent patience can get their grip strength high enough to handle their max deadlift.

Hell, you could use double UNDERhand grip and be at far less risk of tearing your bicep, as you'll be more likely to keep your elbows locked and your fingers will give before your bicep tears. There is literally NO reason to ever use a mixed grip.
