Pushups use 60% of your bodyweight. I've been doing a ton of pushups on all my non-benching days, bench has gone from 205lbsx2 up to 225x5 in three months, chest and Tris noticably bigger too.

Today my gym is doing a collective push up effort for Sport Relief, we are aiming for 24,000 in 24 hours. I did 400 this morning (sets of 10 for just under an hour) and am going to go back in a couple of hours and attempt to do the same again. I've never done this volume of push ups before or worked out twice in one day, do you guys think that I'll be able to do the same amount or will my muscles be fucked? Around the 350 mark I was starting to struggle ever so slightly with the last couple of reps, but I figured sets of 10 are so light that I might not need much recovery time.
