Watch some videos of proper bench form. you are probably fucking something up. Retract scapula. squeeze shoulder blades. slight arch in the back. squeeze the bar. push through your wrists. make sure you have proper hand placement so your wrists arent fucked.

which part of the bench are you fucking up? The first half or the second half? Do some other chest exercises if first half. if second half, add some tricep isolations.

I'm doing it perfectly, I rewatched all the riptoe vids.

IDK man my shoulder progress is just so much better than my bench progress.

My arms are pretty small, so you're probably right about the triceps. Im gonna work on them more from now on.

id definitely recommend some tricep isolations. Also what worked for me is switching from 3x5 to 3x8. And throw in some dips when you can.
