Someone eventually asks me for a hit...then for their friend...and another... and so on and soon they ask who I'm here with. I say nobody. Then they invite me in. I used to go to a lot of them but didn't go much for the last 2 years. Last weekend I went to PussyLounge Wintercircus, and since then I'm fucking hyped to go to others again as well.
I've been to Defqon 1 since 2011, but didn't go the last two years. Imo Defqon has lost its feel somehow, but it's probably still great if you're going a first time or you're not from NL.

Most are on drugs anyway. I usually don't smoke, but often buy a pack for a festival to smoke and share (and I don't buy a lighter, so I have an opening with other people when I ask to lit mine up). Smoking when on drugs or alcohol is also great for some extra rush, I don't like it when I'm sober.
