Hello newfriend, /fit/ has always been here to give support for people's baby steps. It's only been bitter for maybe 2 years, before that it was just feels galore. It only got bitter when all the people who began lifting to get a gf realized that lifting doesn't help with that. Only then did it get bitter.

Agreed. Their latest post is some guy that worked out like the Rock for 30 days, he posts a pic of his meal prep which is at most 300kcal each & says he eats 6 per day, somehow deluded himself into thinking he ate 6,000 kcal yet only gained 1lb.

Haha yeah I saw that. I couldn't fucking believe it. Honestly felt like grabbing that guy and forcing him down to my gym and do his routine. You just cannot do a normal weightlifting routine for a month and look like that no matter wtf diet you were on. But the strangest thing is that the reddit fitness community does not let people call bullshit unless they're super nice and sensitive to his feelings. It's sad

I consider myself skelleton mode at 5'10" and 143lbs and right now Im dead lifting 200lbs x5.

But then I see the faggots at my gym who can do 200 lbs on their triceps rope pulls and then go and deadlift with like 66lbs and I feel like at least Im trying and not being a fucking bitch. In fact as far as I ve seen Im the guy who DL the most weight in the gym, and Im not even close to half the strenght of those guys.

I'm 6" and 165lb currently. I have gone up from 136lb. I started as a 175 fatass.

I've been 'working out' on and off (basically once or twice a month) whilst eating pizzas nearly every day.

Sometimes I would get really motivated and restrict my calories to crazy levels and think I was making gains because I was losing more fat. Thats why I ended up at 132lb.

Now i'm eating more (still not as clean as I should be) and eating lots of protein in all of my meals. I recently benched 110lb 3x10 and was over the moon. Considering my weight, I am weak as fuck and look terrible.

How'd your grip hold up? I hit 205, grip felt shaky at best. 215 I dropped the bar on my 3rd rep. Had to deload to work on grip, BUT my gym doesn't allow chalk.

I just do it with normal grip for as many reps as I can and then switch to mixed grip if its gonna slip. Usually I get 3-4 reps before switching. Currently at 230 pounds
