It's called delayed onset muscle soreness. The best way to help mitigate it is static stretching the effected areas and foam roll therapy. And stop being a pussy.

I remember when I did 10 sets of 10 squats @ 1plaet!!1! after not being in the gym for a while, I actually could not even walk afterwards the DOMS were so bad
