I think you might be on to something. But this sort of celibacy should be accompanied by an active pursuit for cessation of suffering. Interesting. I'm fairly vegan (can't give up gainz juice aka milk so easily) as well. I sometimes question my motivations for not going full monk mode (like, legitimately abandoning society in favor of leading a contemplative life), in the sense that I start thinking that maybe I'm just low test or something.
But observing suffering reveals its roots in ignorance quite plainly, and other than the pursuit of spiritual catharsis, no extroverted acts seem able to touch that basal ignorance.
What's your end-game? Like, where do you see yourself in 10 years if all goes according to plan?
Personally, I'd love to be living in a place with a really low cost of living (hopefully on savings, but I'm not opposed to a part time job) where I can be actively engaged as a student in a formal setting and maintain a regimen of studying scriptures and practicing devotional music for the rest of the day.
But for now I've sold out to salarycuck life to finance said lifestyle and it's a huge source of internal tension and self-doubt.
