Do the following:
Planks
Ab roller
Hanging leg raises or windshield wipers

Get an ab wheel, do the plank for long periods of time, do stomach vacuum while you're sitting around doing nothing, do hanging leg raises.

I have better abs than 99% of the people I meet and this works for me. I didn't find compounds were enough to get the look I really wanted.

than you aren't skinny, you're hungry skeleton.
there is a big difference.
Skinny dictates your body fat, sub 14% you will form abs. at 11-12% you will have them showing. You're just lucky that your fat is more distributed, making you look skinny, but it's still there.

Keep losing weight, eat more protein and build muscles.
don't do exercises specifically for abs more than once a week. if your abs begin to stick out it will make you look pot bellied(bear mode) which if you don't have the upper body or legs to match looks silly.

I honestly have no idea what to do about my forearms. They're not shit right near my elbow, but my forearm just goes on forever. I've got like a solid foot of arm that doesn't really have any muscle to build on.

I tried using a grip trainer for a while, it didn't seem to have any effect on the part of my arm from my wrist to about halfway to my elbow.

Thanks, this is probably the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me online.

Yeah I didn't take them too seriously as you can see up above, I get hated on fairly often but I think it's generally from people who would swap bodies with me if they could, so I don't take it to heart.

Plus I know people lift for different reasons, I'm sure they could crush all my PRs, but I'm generally lifting for aesthetics.

I appreciate the advice, I'm actually on a light cut right now to be more shredded for the summer as that seems to pull more women than bulk in my experience. It's funny you would mention the homosexual bit, I get hit on by by guys fairly often as it is. I'll likely continue putting on a few lbs of muscle a year like I have been, I'm not in any hurry, it's more of a marathon than a sprint for me, I just like fitness.

I'm gonna be honest, I haven't weighed myself in like two years. When I was first trying to put on weight I kept getting discouraged when the number was going up too slow, so I just started eyeballing and lifting for aesthetics.

Based on how I look compared to pictures of me where I knew my weight I would ballpark myself somewhere around 180ish.

I'm 27 now, I started lifting more seriously when I was around 20.

I started actually eating enough to put on weight 2 years or so ago. I was just shredded as hell with almost no size at all for the first 5 years or so, I struggle with eating enough.

I realize you didn't ask for an essay but the last guy got really discouraged when I said 7 years, so I thought I would add that disclaimer this time.

Uh, it's hard to say at 18 you're probably still growing. I had a massive amount of trouble putting on much size until I was totally done with that.

I also snapped my shit more than once which held me back. If you're a tall lifter I'd recommend reading https://www.t-nation.com/training/truth-for-tall-lifters. That would have saved me a lot of time and injuries.

To answer your question, you could likely be my size or bigger by the time you're 21 or 22 if you're diligent. I'm trying to factor in time for you growing there as well, it could be even quicker.

Do SS/SL/Greyskull/etc, count calories, eat at a little over maintenance, make sure you are sleeping right and getting as many protons as you need. Bulk & cut is a meme except for roiders.

You don't have to get fat.

After ~6-9 months or so when you have a good muscle base switch to a PPL routine.
