I actually got a question. So, I've been retaining water like crazy, and I easily go over on my daily sodium intake - usually sit at around 3g. Now, this used to not bother me until I started having symptoms similar to that of a heart failure. Naturally, it just turned out to be a panic attack, but....

Anyway, the point of my question - when I cook 1/2 of a turkey breast and about a 1/4 of rice, is 1 teaspoon of salt (roughly 2.2 grams), does it get counted all at once, or divided into how many servings I make?

doing the 20/4 warrior diet

ate around 9pm last night and it was 4 potatoes and like 10 ikea meatballs and a 2 scoops of iso whey protein with milk

Chorizo and green onion omelette.

Cook green onion in a pan at a decent heat with olive oil and seasoning, if you want add some diced tomatoes. Put aside once it's done.

Crack and whisk six eggs, pour into a low heat pan.

While that's cooking, dice some chorizo sausage, and add this to the egg along with the onions, tomatoes, and some shredded cheese.

Once the egg starts cooking (cant see through the whites) turn your oven on broil, and finish in the oven for 2 minutes.

What the fuck does that even mean? First off, I buy Basmati rice which has less starch. Second, I mix it with carrots. Third, turkey doesn't have starch. Fourth, starch doesn't taste like anything overly bad.

How is my diet? I'm seeing results, but I'm curious if I'm doing anything wrong. Sometimes i'll switch the chicken breast out for a can of tuna in water. I've been lifting for 8 months now, no longer skinnyfat but far from /fit/. I'm 5'11 and 150 lbs with about 12-13% bf.

This shit is the bomb.

Plus you get high carbs, full amino acid protein chains, and a hefty source of protein.

Nearly zero sodium.

I also generally eat oats that have blueberries, raspberries, and mix in granola and dark chocolate.

I'm 6'4, 220 pounds and I'm annoyed that my weightloss is stalling. Usually on the days I eat most it's 1800 cal or so, the days I eat the least about 1400, but still pretty stalled.
I don't use oil or sugar or anything that could add extra calories, I mostly just grill stuff.

Only the milk you put in it, tea with no sugar is 0 calories and usually highly reccomended for weightloss since it curbs appetite. And a drop of skimmed milk should be 20 kcal tops, so you're fine.

You're exactly like my girlfriend's brother. Also a skinny fuck who complained about being skinny and my gf vouched that he ate like shit and a lot but then actually doing the math and me actually following him around for a couple of days to see what he ate, he'd just skip meals randomly because gaming, he didn't use condiments like mayo and stuff that add a lot of hidden calories, same with oils and such and overall just didn't eat as much as he thought he did.

Hey /fit/, I'm fine with dinners, but I struggle to get variety into my breakfasts (porridge oats and fruit) and lunches (tuna baguettes and fruit, usually an apple)
I love veggies, but hate salad. I don't get what people like about salads.

Can you suggest some /fit/ approved meals/recipes?

lunch: Omlette w/ 4 egg whites, 2 tbsp shredded cheese, spinach/mushroom/onion maybe some salsa, 1 slice ww toast

snack: 1 c 1% cottage cheese & a pickle

dinner: hitting Panera Bread with a friend from out of town... not sure what to get there, suggestions?

snack: either apple/celery with peanut butter OR carrots/celery/cucumber/peppers with hummus

workout: spending 6 hours in the car because Spring Break... help me /fit/ ;_;

The easiest lunch is probably packing a burrito blow-style entre the night before. There are a million tutorials out there but basically:

>chicken
> vegetables of choice
> salsa seasonings etc.
Just cater the proportions to suit your macros.

Next easiest option, can you leave something at work? If there is a fridge you can use (write your name on it first) freeze the borrito bowl and leave there so you'll have it when you want it. If no fridge but you can leave food in a locker or something good options include: nuts/homemade trail mix, fresh fruit, oatmeal packets (watch the sugar) granola bars, protein powder (mix with water) or even cup noodles

Here's my recipe you can experiment with.

>cook for another hour, throw beans and a cup of coffee in there. Cook for an hour. Eat whenever.

You can just throw everything in there at the start and substitute tomato paste for actual tomatoes but I just posted the optimum way to do it. You can also throw corn, bacon and whatever else you think would be good too. Cayenne. By cook I mean simmer too. The tomatoes boiling create more than enough juice as well and the coffee highlights the flavors. You don't need it but it sharpens everything.
