Ahoy there, you fat sacks of crap. It's that time again.
List what you've eaten so far today. Draw on/take in ideas from everyone. Give them hell about what they ate if you want, insult how you think they probably look, praise where you find it fitting.

Lunch 2 slices bread with salami
Dinner: Chiecken, rice, corn
Supper: 2 slices bread with salami + an apple
I actually got a question. So, I've been retaining water like crazy, and I easily go over on my daily sodium intake - usually sit at around 3g. Now, this used to not bother me until I started having symptoms similar to that of a heart failure. Naturally, it just turned out to be a panic attack, but....
Anyway, the point of my question - when I cook 1/2 of a turkey breast and about a 1/4 of rice, is 1 teaspoon of salt (roughly 2.2 grams), does it get counted all at once, or divided into how many servings I make?
>>36397762
Dang you love salami

Chorizo and green onion omelette.
Cook green onion in a pan at a decent heat with olive oil and seasoning, if you want add some diced tomatoes. Put aside once it's done.
Crack and whisk six eggs, pour into a low heat pan.
While that's cooking, dice some chorizo sausage, and add this to the egg along with the onions, tomatoes, and some shredded cheese.
Once the egg starts cooking (cant see through the whites) turn your oven on broil, and finish in the oven for 2 minutes.

fatass detected
What's your guys opinions on the following foods:
Beets
Spinach
Corn
I usually have a combination of 2 of them with dinner.
>>36397771
How the fuck do you need a teaspoon of salt for 1/2 a turkey breast and 1/4 cup of rice? A teaspoon is the max limit you're supposed to eat in a whole day
>>36397776
You don't know how right that is.
>>36397850
What the fuck does that even mean? First off, I buy Basmati rice which has less starch. Second, I mix it with carrots. Third, turkey doesn't have starch. Fourth, starch doesn't taste like anything overly bad.
I'm asking a simple question here - do I dive the salt content by portion, or do I treat it as a lump?
On a cut, because I'm a fatass.
>Cup of coffee for breakfast (1 tablespoon of baileys caramel creamer), usually eat a small bowl of kashi fiber cereal with a banana cut up in it.
>Lunch was steamed broccoli, lightly pan-fried sweet potato fries with a low-fat greek yogurt dip I winged. (just added cinnamon and like half a teaspoon of honey for taste)
>Dinner will be a serving of left over meal prep of pic.
>>36397940
Beats and spinach are great and packed with micro nutrients (the darker the veg, the better imo), but corn sucks.
>>36397771
Not knowing how you are using the salt, I would say it should be spread over however many serving you make. After all, if you cook the breast, but eat it over 3 days, you wont count all three servings as having been eaten on day 1, would you?
>>36397956
Well, correction, I'm talking about 1/2 of a whole breast (roughly a pound), and a 1/4th of a jar, which comes out to about 250g of rice.
>>36397940
An oz of black beans give you the same amount of protein at ~1/3 of the calories in an oz of yellow corn.
>>36397987
>but corn sucks.
This is the second time i've heard this. What is wrong with corn? Genuinely curious.
>>36397980
Holy saturated fats batman, butter and cream for the pasta? M9, why???
Oy vey.
I have to leave for 6 days, away from civilization. I've been thinking of just cutting large amounts of veggies with pre-cooked chicken, but if anyone has any suggestion I'm open.
Ideally I'd have to prepare two or three meals, just in large amounts.

Oh i didnt follow that 100%. I subbed out the cream for 2% milk and halved the butter. I'm hoping that helped a good bit.
If not, I probably wont fix it again, I cant find very good tortellini pasta where I leave.

Oh that's good, thought you were undermining your cut with that recipe.

>>36398013
There just isn't much nutritional value to it. If I'm going to eat a vegetable, it's going to be a leafy green or a root veggie. They taste the best and are some of the best for you.

how tall and how many calories a day?
I'm cutting too at 1700 cals , being 5'10.....you seem to be eating very little.
>>36401707
5'8"
goal is 1950 cals/day (physical job) but I usually clock in between 1700-1850.
I eat a lot of cottage cheese.
wake up-banana
breakfast-1/3 cup oats and 3 whole poached eggs. no salt, sometimes hot sauce.
post workout snake-1 scoop with cup of lowfat milk
lunch- chicken breast with 2/3 cup brown rice. carrots, broccoli, green pepper, onion, and cabbage. a little stir fry sauce for flavor.
snack- banana and 1 scoop with water
dinner- same as lunch
snack- 1 scoop with water
How is my diet? I'm seeing results, but I'm curious if I'm doing anything wrong. Sometimes i'll switch the chicken breast out for a can of tuna in water. I've been lifting for 8 months now, no longer skinnyfat but far from /fit/. I'm 5'11 and 150 lbs with about 12-13% bf.
>cup of 0 fat greek yogurt with cheerios
>cup of coffee and a reese egg that mom gave me
>found the original bag in the trash, 90 calories per egg
>tried being good at lunch with vegetables and a stuffed cabbage
>tried being good at work with a couple mini ricecakes and water but gave in to a chocolate maple egg
>after getting home from work found out parents made a cheeseburger and put it in the refrigerator for me
Today was not good, I'm only supposed to be eating around 1200 cals
>>36401818
Your diet is pretty fucking phenomenal man.... You might wanna go up in calories if you are trying to put on muscle.
breakfast: eggs, bacon, bowl of cheerios, coffee with a bit of milk. ~320 cals
lunch: chipotle chicken panini from starbucks, iced latte ~430 cals
dinner: gf brought me leftovers from local "Nawlins" style restaurant ~600 cals
that nanner pudding was delish
How to gain weight? I'm skin and bones and want gain weight. Like 10kg or so atleast. My metabolism works against me and i also eat a lot but spread out across the day which apparently keeps you skinny or some shit
>>36401819
Cheese burgers are not that bad honestly, if consumed once in a while. Just don't eat the bread.
Stop eating chocolate.
Don't starve yourself for lunch, because you will binge on dinner.

1 banana
2 tblspns greek yogurt
2 tblspns peanut butter/honey mix
1 cup shredded kale
2 cups rice milk

Nearly zero sodium.

Dinner: 8oz chicken breast, whole can of kidney beans
I also ate like 2 chocolate chip granola bars. Gonna eat me some cottage cheese before I go to bed for them sick overnight protein gains.

yes, most certainly. That is a serving size, and if it's all natural that is like 180 cals. I guess you be the judge.

>>36402168
Well fuck it, i'm obviously wrong here. I'll keep track of daily intake and make changes
Breakfast: crackers or a tiny commercial muffin (100 kcal for the crackers, 80 if the muffin)
Lunch: 200 to 300gr of fish, chicken, beef or rabbit, depending on what I feel like. A banana for desert. (400 to 600 cal + 150 on the banana)
Snack: Same as breakfast
Dinner: same as lunch.
I'm 6'4, 220 pounds and I'm annoyed that my weightloss is stalling. Usually on the days I eat most it's 1800 cal or so, the days I eat the least about 1400, but still pretty stalled.
I don't use oil or sugar or anything that could add extra calories, I mostly just grill stuff.
>>36398143
Only the milk you put in it, tea with no sugar is 0 calories and usually highly reccomended for weightloss since it curbs appetite. And a drop of skimmed milk should be 20 kcal tops, so you're fine.
The best.
>>36402090
You're exactly like my girlfriend's brother. Also a skinny fuck who complained about being skinny and my gf vouched that he ate like shit and a lot but then actually doing the math and me actually following him around for a couple of days to see what he ate, he'd just skip meals randomly because gaming, he didn't use condiments like mayo and stuff that add a lot of hidden calories, same with oils and such and overall just didn't eat as much as he thought he did.
>>36402601
Skinnyfats can almost always benefit from making a shake that's mostly ice cream with some chocolate milk, vegetable oil and whey added and getting it through their skull that they have to drink it all, at the end of the day, AFTER they've eaten their normal daily meals.
Even then they sip it and cry.
I'm convinced most people are just weak and pathetic and are a lost cause.

haha no I mean Ive eaten 1200 today and ive got 1050 left
Hey /fit/, I'm fine with dinners, but I struggle to get variety into my breakfasts (porridge oats and fruit) and lunches (tuna baguettes and fruit, usually an apple)
I love veggies, but hate salad. I don't get what people like about salads.
Can you suggest some /fit/ approved meals/recipes?
Breakfast so far.
Any /fit/ chili recipies?
I'm really craving some fucking chili.
Is diet coke fucking fine to drink? I never realised it was 0 calories, literally zero anything in he nutritional info
I very rarely drink carbonated drinks so it doesn't really affect me, but shit could people drink that like fat fucks drink regular coke and be fine?
Surely there's some negative I'm missing
I eat well for breakfast and most of the time dinner but sometimes I find it hard to make lunch and I settle for fast food. I usually get 3 McDoubles to help me hit macros but I feel like a bad person after. What do you guys do for lunch?

Just fucking make it normal with either steak or strain the ground beef.
You gotta understand you're putting tomatoes, jalepenos, onion, beef, and some spices in there. It's not exactly unhealthy.
Banana
x2 slices of high fiber bread with chunky PB
x3 fried eggs over medium
Glass of milk
Yesterday I swapped the milk for "estus", OJ + a little ginger ale + Fireball
breakfast: Smoothie w/ 1 frozen banana, 1 scoop, 1 1/2 c 2% milk
lunch: Omlette w/ 4 egg whites, 2 tbsp shredded cheese, spinach/mushroom/onion maybe some salsa, 1 slice ww toast
snack: 1 c 1% cottage cheese & a pickle
dinner: hitting Panera Bread with a friend from out of town... not sure what to get there, suggestions?
snack: either apple/celery with peanut butter OR carrots/celery/cucumber/peppers with hummus
workout: spending 6 hours in the car because Spring Break... help me /fit/ ;_;

The easiest lunch is probably packing a burrito blow-style entre the night before. There are a million tutorials out there but basically:
>brown rice
>black beans
>chicken
> vegetables of choice
> salsa seasonings etc.
Just cater the proportions to suit your macros.
Next easiest option, can you leave something at work? If there is a fridge you can use (write your name on it first) freeze the borrito bowl and leave there so you'll have it when you want it. If no fridge but you can leave food in a locker or something good options include: nuts/homemade trail mix, fresh fruit, oatmeal packets (watch the sugar) granola bars, protein powder (mix with water) or even cup noodles

And some beans I forgot.
Here's my recipe you can experiment with.
>throw around six tomatoes in a pot until it starts boiling then let simmer for an hour. Throw oregeno/jalapenos in there too.
>cook meat with chili powder and cumin, throw in pot after hour. Throw bay leaf on top
>cook for another hour, throw beans and a cup of coffee in there. Cook for an hour. Eat whenever.
You can just throw everything in there at the start and substitute tomato paste for actual tomatoes but I just posted the optimum way to do it. You can also throw corn, bacon and whatever else you think would be good too. Cayenne. By cook I mean simmer too. The tomatoes boiling create more than enough juice as well and the coffee highlights the flavors. You don't need it but it sharpens everything.

Saved. Thanks. I mainly just make shitty chili with canned everything and I wanted to try fresh since I've only got a few dollars to last me until the 22nd.
I AM SAVING ALL OF MY CALORIES FOR THE RED AND GREEN ENCHILADAS I AM MAKING TONIGHT
