What foods do you bulk with /fit/?

oats, peanut butter, peanuts, tortilla chips, chankonabe, lentils every so often here

Go to a Korean food store. Buy a container of red pepper paste, a bag of rice cakes, a bag of fish cakes, some green onions and a thing of anchovies.

Fry the fish cakes and rice cakes in some sesame oil with the green onions chopped up. Toss in an anchovy or two, a table spoon or four of the red pepper paste and then add hot water to cover everything and 3 table spoons of sugar. Simmer until the sauce is reduced to a sticky paste and then serve hot.

Delicious, cheap as fuck, high protein and high calorie. Pic related.

Ground beef, soft tofu, green onions and yellow curry sauce is another cheap and dirty dish that you can grab from the Asian store.

For side dishes make coconut rice. 2 cups of rice, 4 cups of coconut milk, 3 tbsp of brown sugar, a pinch of salt, a couple saffron threads and you're golden.

Make instant Ramen but poach 3 eggs in the water you're boiling the noodles in. Pop two of the yolks for max flavour. While it's cooking microwave a couple of hot dogs and chop em up to toss in. When it's all together in the bowl top it with a kraft single. Incredibly rich and tasty Ramen. Each hotdog is 100 kcal as is the kraft single. Hella easy way to get more calories.

Cook with butter. Add olive oil to everything not buttered.

Buy a bag of shredded cheddar or a block of cheddar and top everything with it. Soup, salad, rice, fucking everything.

Corn nuts and peanuts are great snacking food. You can get them from bulk barn, go with whichever one has the most protein per 100 grams. Keep a glass of milk or juice at hand and when the salt kills your mouth down the beverage.

Transfats are fine as long as you're active and not morbidly obese. There's no harm in avoiding them, but their harm potential for active, healthy adults is minimal. Nitrates are not the greatest but I have a hard time hitting my calorie goals if I don't consume some processed foods. I'm a hungry skelly with no appetite though, so if you can make it on chicken breasts and brown rice power to you.

If you want to get HUGE you have to eat HUGE, go watch an animal documentary and you'll see that the alpha males eat a lot that's why their bigger.

However be careful as to what you bulk up on, no need to go eating 3 times a day at McDonalds, eat lots of beans or oats... even eggs if you have the cash.

As long as you exercise you'll burn off the fat and keep the gains, also be prepared to shit a lot more than twice a day while bulking... get those veggies too

5'8", 158lbs, starting a clean bulk. Most TDEE calculators say I should eat ~3500 per day, but I've been at 158 for like 4ish weeks now. Not sure if it's a problem with my calorie counting, or my TDEE inaccuracy. Any thoughts?

Has like 1,200kcal, 100g protein, and is insanely easy to consume in one sitting.

I like to add psyllium husk to my chanko nabe

Gives it a thick, slimy texture like egg drop soup.
I prefer it to watery texture.

These are my snack meals outside of cooking. Pasta salads are really good to prep too.

I've been eating those costco turkey burgers for so long, honestly you can even just season them with a good rub and bake them for 15 mins and it's easy enough to push down the throat in 2-3 mins and jump up 35g protons for the day

Drink your calories if you're having a hard time bulking. My pre workout shake:
>2 big handfuls of spinach
>100g of oats
>2 bananas
>cocoa powder
>1 scoop of rice protein
>1 scoop of pea protein
>1 handful of walnuts
>almond milk
Blend that up in the Nutribullet and you've got well over 1000kcals, around 60g of protein and a ton of micro and phytonutrients.
