It itches at first especially if you don't moisturize, and don't use baby powder, but the itching will go away after a while.
Still not a good idea though if you work manual labor or in a hot environment, since the hair keeps the skin of your butt from rubbing together and chafing, as well as helping ventilate the sweat.

I shave my face and cut my hair because I am required to by my job. No other hair grooming.
i trim pubes because they just look kinda shit. i shave armpits because on hot days ill go to the gym in a tanktop and dont wanna gross people out. beard varies. no other grooming.
thought about shaving my ass recently but honestly, i dont see a scenario where anyone will go near my asshole and pubes already itched like a motherfucker just from trimming when i started so im putting that experiment off for now

No chest or back hair, either genetic or because of malnourishment as a child, so I sometimes get accused of shaving my chest. Few errant hairs are plucked.
Pubes trimmed, thighs trimmed, crack shaved because hygiene.
Armpits shaved at start of summer for to keep cooler.
Beard trimmed 1-2days.
I take more care with maintaining body hair than I do the hair on my head.

I shave them because my antiperspirant doesn't work otherwise, and my armpits don't smell as bad even if I don't put any antiperspirant on

I am usually pretty religious on shaving.
For me:
>Shave arms
>Shave armpits
>Shave legs
>shave pubes
>shave asshole
I prefer to be completely spotless. But I have literally grown out every hair in the last 2 months. I feel like a gorilla. I should prob go out and buy razors but I always forget. bf doesn't care though

technically I only trim them (but basically bald), and I'll let them grow out to ~1/2 an inch before trimming them again, so most of the time they aren't completely bald
