My son turned 12 today and I think it's time he started lifting. His/our genetics are pretty decent so I figure he can be a beast by the time he turns 18.

So what would be a good routine for him?

Its not the roids its the weight.Cant believe people like this reproduce.Like i said make him do hiit, calisthenics and enough sleep(atleast 9 hours) and he will be a monster.Weightlifting is after 18 if you want your son to grow properly.

his growth plates haven't fused yet, his bones still need to harden up. start him with some body weight exercise and calisthenics, it will take him far. start the weights once he's had his last growth spurt (16ish) and his bones start to harden up. if you start him early he might end up a manlet. I mean you could genuinely interfere with his growth.
