How do you all sleep 8+ hours a night? My normal is 6 hours,

How do you all sleep 8+ hours a night? My normal is 6 hours, sometimes less, sometimes slightly more if I'm taking dramamine or something. I hear some bodybuilders sleep 10 , how the fuck?

Just sleep as much as you can. Go to bed before 10 on a saturday, don't use any alarm, don't watch tv after 8pm.
When you wake up, take the time. That's how much you actually need to sleep. It's fine if you sleep less; I sleep exactly 7,5 hours, give or take a couple of minutes.

Medical profesional herec the whole "8 huh ours is optimal" is a (well meant) myth. 4 to 5 90 minute cycles are optimal (give yourself 8 hours........within which to get 6, 730, you get the point.

Another myth: no such thing as too much sleep. If youre looking to optimize muscle growth/tissue repair ( which, begrusgingly, ill admit is duuuuhfcourse more pronounced I 10 hr sleep seshes) optimize your biochemical climate prior to sleep and ensure your sleep is ROCK. SOLID.

I could go on, talking about the neurochemistry of sleep and gainz-while-you-sleep requires some high-test motivation

I need cardio and sunlight to have an regular sleep pattern. Otherwise, it'll be like five hours here, four hours there, then ten or twelve hours on weekends. I'm fucked right now because my work just rolled back their labor and I haven't had more than two shifts in the last couple weeks (fuck them) but I just use this time to make myself look healthier and study.

6-7 hours is the normal healthy sleeping period for an adult male.
If you are still tired after that, you either have low test/low quality of sleep/not getting enough carbs or macros to keep the system functioning optimally.
Sleeping 10 hours usually means crash diet or in a body builders case overexertion of the body(which equates to a crash diet) as they are not repairing their bodies in the 7 hour window.
This could also be a sign of hormone abusing.
Children regularly sleep 10 hours due to hormone stimulus forcing them into a comma for body growth.
