I look at myself at the mirror. There is science to this google it. Looking at yourself in the eyes in the mirror is recommended when you feel like you're about to do something that you normally wouldn't do. Just google it mane.
I look at my ex girlfriend's instagram. She's living with a guy who makes more money then I ever did, she's constantly bragging about how great her life is and takes lots of selfies of her obnoxious fucking face. It pisses me off and at the gym later when I'm struggling on a rep I think of her mugging in a selfie and tagging people she would never have fucking met if she hadn't dated me and I blast out reps I thought I was going to fail.
It's probably not healthy but its what works for me and I'm finally starting to see gains after years of just maintaining.
