You should purposely fail some sets. Let the bar get stuck on your chest, rest like 15 seconds then push it up. After doing this exercise, I learned to stop fearing "getting stuck".. worst case scenario I rest for a few seconds & then get it up.

I seen some black dude come in with chains at my gym a couple of months back.

He finished one set of dips with them and a trainer came over and said chains aren't allowed. He asked why and I heard the guy say that they can be used as a weapon and weapons aren't allowed in the gym.

Like wtf bro can you not see all the dumbbells laying around. These can be weapons too.

He came in 2 days later with sandbags attached to a rope but nobody said anything this time.

I have no idea how he came up with that idea but when I asked he says it's even better than the chains because you can just buy more sandbags to adjust the weight instead of buying more chain.

I kinda just agreed with him because he's got dat dere black genetics.

I like doing accessory incline dp deloading set of 5 pounds on the month of high reps and low weights for compound movements. Start with 65 pounds for 12 sets and end up only heable to do 25 pounds for 8 sets. This is an accessory for my bench along with my pin press. Anyone else find the more they exercise the more they want to make things complicated as fuck?
