How can I straighten my back?

Bump, mine is too

you have lordosis (the lumbars curved forward) and kyphosis (your shoulders being slouched).
I have them too, I'm not an expert so you should do your own research but I found that you should reinforce your abdominals and glutes/hamstrings for the first one. and work on your upper back for the second one, and try to have a good posture as often as possible.
for example deadlifts and rows, or also pullups have really improved my posture

From wikipedia:
>A visible sign of lordosis is an abnormally large arch of the lower back and the person appears to be puffing out his or her stomach and buttocks.
>Imbalances in muscle strength and length are also a cause, such as weak hamstrings, or tight hip flexors (psoas)
>Lumbar lordosis may be treated by strengthening the hip extensors on the back of the thighs, and by stretching the hip flexors on the front of the thighs.
tl:dr - your hamstrings are weak and your hip flexors aren't flexible enough

Long legs, short torso. I'm a lanky fella. I'm lagging on the squat but deadlift is my best lift.

I'd squeeze and rub (no homo)

Yeah I think squats and more deadlifts would do you well for that nice round ass

I used to spend so much time lying down my lower back is completely fucked. Now sitting upright is fucking painful, I just start slouching over and my ass hurts. I long for a chair that reclines. But it's probably for the best that I'm forced to sit up in agony

ikea markus is the standard entry level desk chair, it provides good support

Deadlifts. It fixed my posture problems.
>>
>>36267985
First of all you have to know most of the people with perfect posture just force it. After a while it becomes a second nature to keep your shoulders back, a straight(er) back and tight abs, but it will still be tiring.

Secondly, if you messed up your posture during puberty (sitting for too long playing computer, usually) you will not be able to permanently improve it, and it will require an even bigger effort for you to keep it acceptable while standing.

In how many weeks or months can I expect my situation to improve?
