>tfw you literally have to wipe your face down multiple times a day because you're that fuckin oily.
>tfw you wash your face daily
>tfw you change pillow cases twice a week
>tfw you use salicylic acid acid and benzoyl peroxide
>tfw you still have acne
When does it end, /fit/
Have you tried Proactive? It worked for me.
when you change your diet perhaps?
>>36198901
I'm not a fat fuck, am eating maintenance right now so everything is relatively clean.
Don't listen to the diet advice here. My doctor told me about an experiment done on young prisoners where they fed two different groups different foods. One group was a pretty /fit/ tier diet and the other was junk food (Inclusing lots of milk). There was only a very minor difference.
I highly suggest you look into Aztec Secret. It's a clay that you mix with raw apple cider vinegar (Use briggs). Use it a few times a week if you're acne prone or once a week for maintenance once it's done working.
It literally sucks up pimples and shrinks pores. I guarantee even after once using it, you will only feel a fraction of the oil you had before.
The first/second time you use it, your face may get a little worse before it gets better for people with acne, but every treatment after that is smooth sailing.
Of course you should still use a cleanser and moisturizer, but the aztec secret has a great chance of helping you.
I normally never post cause I CBF but I feel your pain bro! Suffered/suffer bad acne
Some people just genetically create more sebum (oil) then others and have bigger pores then others, those two combined = bad acne
Are you on the gear by any chance?
Dude hit the Accutane, I just got off after 6 months, its tough man, it does fuck with your head and makes u dry as a nuns cunt but it is so worth it,
Biggest one is = Drink FUCK tons of water, like I mean atleast 5 litres a day, I don't care if you weigh 130kg or 80kg drink a shit ton of water, buy a big ass bottle and fill it up once a day and make sure u finish it by days end
Also give Vitamin B5 a go, (Panothetic Acid) reduces pore size apparently, I think its helped, havent used for a few weeks though
i used to be pretty oily. don't know why it stopped but it was around the time i started getting healthier and more calm. used to use BP and stuff. even then, i still bring a pack of those oil strip paper things if i'm at something where i should look decent.
here are my tips
>be gentler on your skin (no scrubbing or wiping with cloth, that aggravates oiling)
>no aggressive soaps because your body wants balance (dry skin tells body to make more oil, like roids and bitch tits)
>use less of whatever you're using (BP at lowest %, etc.)
>eat healthier
>be more calm (easy advice to give, harder to follow)
>fish oil, vitamin D, and zinc all help and have some evidence for it
>exercise
i don't bathe sometimes, change sheets every 2 weeks to a month, and i'm fine even though i used to be like you. i do have shitty acne scars though from high school years. any anons have anything to recommend?
derma roller vs chemical peel?
>>36198941
I use this stuff, it really is GOAT and cheap as well
stop washing your face all the time, and start moisturising. Sounds crazy, but it makes your body realise it doesn't need so much oil
>>36198978
This is good advice. This step is very important because your skin will attempt to compensate for the lost oils to moisturize itself unless you replace whaf was lost. Mositurizing protects and heals your nature moisture barrier and prevents excess oil from appearing
I suggest washing your face with luke warm water in the morning followed by moisturizer. Before bed use a cleanser and mositurize again. If you absolutely need to wash twice a day, go for some Cerave products. Many of their cleansers and moistruizers protect the moisture barrier that I suspect you stripped.
>>36198865
When you fucking moisturise
you'll see that there are a lot of different answers but i think the best thing you should do in your state is take it easy. you're anxious and feeling ugly right now so you'll naturally want to look for a quick reliable fix like accutane or this or that cream or clay. but if that doesn't work you'll just get more frustrated since you've spent so much time on your rituals and money for the products but you're still ugly.
accutane has some pretty nasty sides and that's why dermas recommend it last.
personally i enjoy having no rituals at all. i'm this guy >>36198963
just wanted to suggest to you the easygoing route of supplements, diet and exercise, less washing, and calmer outlook on life. actually, it seems less convenient now that i typed it out, but none of that stuff is specifically only for acne. they're great for everything else. i didn't change my life for acne. i changed my life for myself and acne went away.
just a change of pace in case you wanted something less neurotic.
>>36198931
well your body doesnt just magically create oil from your autism and shitposting...
I have mild/medium acne but I swear my skin hardly makes any oil. I could probably not moisturize and it would be dry all day.
There was on period where my skin became almost flawless and it was when I started the whole washing twice a day with soap, then BP and moisturize, but my diet wasn't really that great. Then after 3-4 weeks I got some pimples, then I started jogging everyday and my forehead broke the fuck out like crazy.
Now my skin is just meh. My forehead still has more of a red rash with bumps look, they're not really pimples. I've tried a few different things, nothing is effective so far. Fucking skin man.
I even did gluten free for about 10 days and it helped a little, so I started saying fuck it kind of. I think I just need to accept that a really healthy diet has to be apart of my life, I just can't be a normal dude and eat bullshit without worrying about my skin becoming shit.
>>36199051
Why do you have to be like that, man? OP isn't even shitposting, you are. Do you guys eat so much shit in your daily lives that you have to vent here?
>>36199050
You know, now that I think about it, my acne cleared up the most during a two week vacation period for the christmas holidays away from work and at the same time my college classes ended. I do usually stress myself out really bad and have shitty emotions that can rule me. I guess I really need to just have a change of mindset.
>>36198865
I am like that and am currently starting my last month of accutane. When im done i will not be as oily anymore permanently if all goes well. It used to be that by the end of the day my face would be sticky and my forehead actually VISIBLY WET with oil. I tried everything before this and know a ton about skincare. This is my only hope and I highly suggest you do the same and take accutane.
>>36198865
I've been using the acne.org regimen which works but only if I'm extremely autistic about it: twice a day, applied as gently as possible. You've got to touch your face as little as possible and moisturize (the dryness can otherwise cause acne). I'm 26 but still struggle with this shit
>>36198962
Accutane doesnt fuck with your head you fucking vagina. Just stop being a whiney pussy little bitch. Its just you being a teenage faggot.
When I stopped scrubbing my face so much my face became clearer and less oily.
>>36199079
of course, i'm saying IF those products don't work. for some anons here, they do indeed seem to work. so maybe you should give it a shot still.
for me, they don't really go well with how i do things. i hate being neurotic or worrying about something useless, so i don't deal with regimens. lo and behold, all i had to do was live the way i wanted to. i shower every other day and sleep with my face on the sheets.
however, my facial soap doesn't have SLS or fragrances and is pretty nice.
I'm 31 with oily skin, just keep your face clean. I only use salicylic acid as a spot treatment, just a gentle as moisturizer before bed.
My face is pretty clear besides the black sweat
>>36198865
Just use the fucking coconut oil, Jesus fucking Christ. Fat fights fat. It ain't rocket science.
>>36199172
Yeah, it's broscience.
>>36198865
I was the same OP until i got put on accutane when i was 27, completely turned my skin around, no whiteheads, grease stains on clothing, rapist sheen in photographs etc. Life changing
>>36199172
Fat doesn't fight fat, however fat does mix with other fats.

do you have to reach a level of severity before they'll prescribe it?
Try razor blades. Scartissue always remains acne free and you have some cool stories to tell about your scars.
>>36198865
Opposite problem here
>skin so dry even tiny amounts of weight gain causes stretch marks
>skin red and flakey
>>36198865
>drink at least 1L of water a day, usually more
>shower every morning before work
>still have to take a whore-bath halfway through my shift if it's busy sometimes
>I sweat an inhuman amount
why
>>36200355
1 liter? The fuck, i drink 3 in winter and 4-5 in sommer.
fag
>>36198865
I had acne on my back, my chest and my face my whole life.
When i went vegan for 6 months last year, my acne vanished completely.
I went vegetarian after that. I didnt eat any meat, but dairy.
My acne came back.
It wasnt on my face anymore though, just my back.
For further research, went vegan for 1 month again.
Acne on back vanished again.
Uhm yeah, dairy = acne.
Atleast for me
>>36198865
Try monosulfonylmethane, it's been pretty great for me when benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid failed
>>36200546
Edgy.
>>36200355
Drink more than a liter, that ain't shit
moisturising is really important!! wash your face with soap and water and then immediately moisturise. as you have quite oily skin i'd use a light moisturiser that says "for oily skin" on it or something
i've never seen much point in cleansing and toning
>>36199815
Sort of. Unless it's severe, the derm will most like prescribe you a topical or tetracycline (or an equivalent anti-bacterial). After a couple months if it doesn't work you'll probally be put on accutane, as it's a harsh, last resort medication. On my hopefully last month of accutane myself, face looks loads better and will look even better after laser treatments. Good luck anon!
>>36199612
So, don't eat either of the two major macronutrient groups. Great plan
>>36201181
>Dairy is a macro nutrient group
>wholesome carbs are the same as twinkies
Get your shit together, tard.
>>36200702
Fuck you bro. I've been vegan for ten years and still get acne
>>36198865
You might be drinking too much dairy. Also what's your hairstyle. A lot of that oil comes from you hair. As soon as I started giving myself buzzcuts (which I suit well) I've never had issues with oil. In fact my face started getting dry so now I use olay face lotion.
>>36198865
I feel you bro. My skin was sooo fucked up some months ago, but then i read here the key tips:
1. Talk with your doc, get some meds. I dont recommend accutane treatment since it fucks you up.
2. When you shave, make sure everything is sterlized as fuck. Shave every 2nd day, if not every day. A beard can very easily pick up dirt.
When you shave do it like this:
Splash face with warm water.
Use a soap with which contains alcohol (i have very good experince with this)
Put on shaving cream.
Shave, while cleaning the razor with COLD water.
After done shaving cleanse face with warm water
Dry of face using toilet paper or something not dirty
USE AFTERSHAVE! I cant stress this enough. Aftershave keeps your skin from getting oily and shit, and use a good one too.
Put your razor in something that kills bacteria. I used liquid containing 90% alcohol. (which i made on my own). I think vodka would do the trick aswell.
Gl bro
Sry for bad english
>>36201352
After using soap which contains alcohol, you should of course remove it with warm water be4 using shaving cream.
>>36198865
You wash your face TOO much so your skin creates fat like crazy. If you stop washing your face so much your skin will make less fat and your skin will become less fatty over time
I seriously cannot even remember the last time I washed my face, I never get any acne or grease anyway. Still ugly as fuck though
i had moderate-severe acne and got prescribed accutane in like 5 minutes after walking in the derms office. ive been on 60mg a day for 1.5 months now and acne on my face is gone (face is stil redish because of scars), it has had no effect on my bacne yet tho. the only side i have is dry skin and complications caused by it like rash on my hands, nosebleeds, dry eyes and dry lips, but these can all be avoided by using moisturizers. it's really not as bad as it's made on the internet. if it has a bad effect on you then you can just stop taking it.
