What's the easiest way to tell if someone is on steroids? Isn't huge lats a decent indicator?

Some people are obviously on steroids but I'm wondering if there is some easy indicator to tell.

it's not like telling if someone's a man or a woman, in which case you can just check if they have a dick or not
it takes some experience to tell. different drugs in different doses change your body in different ways. if the change is apparent enough or you're experienced enough to can tell by looking at a small piece of the body but usually you have to see the whole physique. only then you can judge the combination of size, bodyfat and proportions. but even then you just have to have a good eye for it

1rm is 40kg. my lats and biceps are disproportionately huge.

chin ups is my best and favourite lift. love it so much that i made a chin up bar out of some ropes and a vacuum cleaner pipe to chin every damn day. i fucking cum when im chinning.

Yes, it's bad for your shoulders in case your shoulders are complete shit. Starting from dead hang (you shouldn't hang completely loose though of course, you should never do that) activates mainly the teres major and rhomboids, the lats and the biceps/brachialis are in a pretty bad position at that point. That's why it's so hard for many people. Having good lats and arms won't make that part easier, you actually need good shoulders for that one. Imo, if you don't go down and up all the way, you are not doing real chin-ups.

I do deadhang neutral grip pullups, could do 17 in a row a few weeks ago. My shoulders are strong but sometimes going to deadhang doesnt feel right. Also what do you mean by

Before I injured my elbow by doing too many of them 2 months ago, about 25 on my first set. Then I'd do about 3 sets, usually 25, then 20, then 15.
I did them every day now my elbow is fucked up and it still hurts. I can't do them without pain. I'm 213 pounds and 6'4 so I think 25 is good for a lanklet

I thought lentils were high in calcium turns out they have next to no calcium and I wasn't getting it from any other source either.

Not chinups, pullups, but 5 with +65 kg (94 kg bw).
I'm not even doing any pullups with my own bw. The lightest weight I use is 20 kg.
For chinups, I can do 3 with my right, and 2 with my left hand.
