I've done my share of OHP and even hit 70kg once, but my lateral delts are complete and utter shit.
So imo, OHP doesn't do much for mid delts.

The fucking abomination that is the upright row. Unnatural moving pattern, and worse at hitting whatever you are trying to hit than other exercises. High risk of snapping your shit up. I don't know why everyone in my gym does it.

The leg extension has a shit ROM. I guess it is good for isolating quads but can easily fuck your knees up. Also inferior because a machine.

Leg press too. It is somewhat ok if you can't squat but if you can I see no reason why you should. Can also snap your knees.
