Looking big in a medium or large t-shirt is probably the most important thing if you lift to look good to other people, which most of you do. Girls love abs but if you need to wear a twink fitted v-neck to not look dyel you're going to come off as a homo

Also they don't do shit for grip development. Big forearms are much more important than big biceps. Chinups and deadlifts will get you big forearms, bicep curls will get you not much at all

Just not true. ONLY doing dumbbell curls for biceps is shit but its a nice addition to lets say weighted chin ups and cable curls.
Also dumbbell curls are quite good to target specific parts, depending on where your biceps are lagging.

there isn't a difference in muscle quality between someone who lifts for strength vs "size", whatever that means. hypertrophy is hypertrophy. if your arms look bloated that's because you either have high bodyfat, disproportionately large arms to a small torso, or both. i know the look you're talking about, and also think it looks bad, but it isn't from curls. guys on fitness magazines who look "dense" are dehydrated and have super low bodyfat.
