Chubster because you can move heavier weights right off the bat and losing weight over time is far easier than gaining muscle when you're not used to eating a lot
The skelebro will be more aesthetic in the long term though because at worst he has to deal with stretch marks from gaining quickly while the fatass could have loose skin

I used to be a fatty throughout my teenage years, now without even trying I have calves and thigh muscles the likes of which people would kill for just from having carried around excess weight for so long. Also, doing push-ups every two days when you weigh between 250-260lbs gets your arms and chest pretty damn muscular. It's nice when you eventually lose all that excess flab and you really start noticing the definition.

Being fat is not indicative of anything either. I started off as a true skeleton, I couldn't properly squat with an empty bar. In 7 months I went from 49 kilos to 74, 120/140/70 sq/dl/bench, which is a fucking testament to my will power and discipline. However later that year I realized that although I did all of that I still lived in my mom's basement and had no job, future, friends or anything, it all quickly lost it's meaning and I went back to being a skeleton.

Chubster needs to gain Tue muscle AND lose the fat.. and they'll always run the risk of getting fat again... Not to mention once your fat its nearly impossible to get down to single digit %... I mean... Its been done, but its hard as fuck.. food is basically a drug

I'm a recovering fatty and have been bouncing between 18% and 24% body fat for the past 6 years and can never seem to stay lean... At least I look a lot better than when k started.

Skelly easily. Both start out okay but when the beginner gains end, the fat guy has to keep going to the gym while adding little if anything at all to his lifts because hes on a cut. He has to fail lifts over and over and over. The skinny guy can just eat and keep adding weight for a very long time.

Most of all, the skinny guy can just hop on gear and be a god.

I started running cross country in high school and would get massive amounts of pain in all the wrong places even though I had pretty stellar running form. I'm talking soles, shins, ankles...

Coach told me to just start running on my toes and it was a day and night difference. Calves where incredibly sore in the beginning but once they were used to the volume they just exploded.

I don't back squat and conventionally deadlift anymore as I fucked up my lower back in a car accident 2 years ago. But my personal bests were

Back Squat: 335x2
Deadlift: 315x1 (I know....)

Now I only do front squats (with straps), RDLs, and bodyweight lunges on my lower body days.

I can front squat 225 for 3 sets of 10 now though which I'm extremely proud of.

Chubby guys tend to overbulk, have loose skin, stretchmarks. All stuff which will inhibit them from easily becoming aesthetic. Weakness also has nothing to do with fat% holy shit. A chubs can be just as weak as a skelebro.
