Well, provided the scale doesn't lie, I've lost 3 kilos the last two weeks, which isn't bad. I just couldn't tell you how much of a deficit I'm on to save my life.

lost about 8lbs since November. Opted for a slower cut to keep as much muscle as possible but it's finally paying off and I'm 5% BF down with no changes in strength!

Was 236lbs. Just weighed in at 215.
My goal was 205 but I might just keep going, not really seeing the fat come off like I figured it would look like. 190lbs might get me to where I thought 205lbs would have looked.

Overall is great it means I could cut down another weight class if I went back to fighting.

I'd been trying to get a handle on my eating prior to that (for like a year), but I was unable to. I was too weak, mentally, to stay in control of my diet during the decline of my marriage over the past year.

12/15:

229lbs, lost a chunk off each lift, I blame my poor depression-nutrition during the cut. I would often stay between 1500-1700 cals just out of no motivation to eat, and would not make sure I crammed the protons I needed.

DL: 475 -> 455
Squat: 345 -> 315
Bench: 300 -> 290
OHP: 215 -> 195

1/15/16:

Haven't gone for another set of 1RMs in some time, but my nutrition is now on-point and my gym sessions are solid. I'm consistently very happy with the intensity I can exhibit.

Currently:

-Walk 3.5mph on 12 incline for 30 mins every morning before work
-5/3/1 mon-thurs, arms Fri. Rest Sat/Sun, sometimes do superficial lift's or complexes on Sat.
-2-2.2kcals/day, 220g protein

My current obstacle is weekend overeating.

I'm 6'4" currently at 245lb (down from 295 since July) and was eating about 1800 kcal. Currently doing a push pull split 4 days a week (sessions are almost 2 hrs long). Probably high 20s/low 30s BF. Sedentary software dev job.

Was starting to feel like shit so I bumped up to around 2500kcal last week and feel great.

So my question is, what's my ideal intake if I wanna cut to like 210-215lb in the next few months and still keep gaining? I have a larger frame than usual so can hold a bit more weight than most people and still look decent.

Current intake is:
Carbs 263g (1052kcal, 42.48%)
Protons 204.5g (818kcal, 33.03%)
Fats 67.4g (606.6kcal, 24.49%)

2476.6 kcal total

Cut from 250 to 220 in summer, took a break, now down from 220ish and have been stalling at 212. So I started at 170 in the beginning of January (the timing was pure coincidence). I'm currently at 159.

About a year ago I was down to 145 after being mega fat for years (I started at 250). I wasn't lifting. Just 2 years of counting calories. I then started lifting and eating a bit more and put on 25 pounds. I'm not sure what my BF was at 145 but I definitely couldn't see my abs and I was weak as fuck (I'm still DYEL but nowhere near as bad as then) so if I had to guess if say 18% or more. it was probably only around 20% when I was at 170. I did a pretty good job of slowly gaining weight and eating lots of protein so I'm reasonably sure almost all the weight was muscle, I just still had a good amount of stubborn fat on me. Currently I'd estimate it at about 13%, I've go a lot more definition in my abs and elsewhere now. The only problem is, I did the math, for me, 7%, assuming my lean weight remains unchanged will be around 148-149 pounds. It kinda seems believable since all of my muscles are visibly bigger than they were the last time I was around this weight (6 months ago). But that just seems way too low. I've heard of people bulking and cutting the same 20-25 pounds before. Does it look like I'm accidentally doing that? I've never done this before.
