Magnesium citrate is shit. Get another form of magnesium. And you are probably vitamin D deficient. 99% of the population of Brazil (a tropical country) is deficient in vitamin D. Most of the population in the U.S. is deficient in it too. Don't forget that vitamin D is important for magnesium metabolism.

Honestly the only supps that I have noticed to have a real effect with zimc and fish oil. Like after taking taking I get boners all the fucking time and my skin clears up. Some memer can post on 4chan all he likes but I'm tried cutting it out and the effects disappear so I will keep taking it

I take magnesium because I'm diabetic. We lose magnesium and other nutrients through high blood sugar and ketosis all the time.

I also eat a lot of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, spinach etc to keep it up.


I also take vitamin D during the winter since we only get a few hours daylight here at the equinox.


I agree that the majority of people on /fit/ buy supplements for no reason other than memes they read on the internet rather than just trying to fix their diet. It blows my mind sometimes.

Large numbers of studies have shown that organic foods offer LESS nutrients and minerals than standard produce

Sounds like you like spending more money because you think something is better for you, which would also explain the supplements you're taking instead of just having a good diet

Magnesium and Zinc supplements are valuable if you train a lot. Like on a PPL six day split or something. You need to replace those minerals because you're using them up faster than you gain them by just eating normal food.
