>Myprotein is 4.285cals/proton, while NOW is 4.4cal/proton
So it's almost the same purity, what is your point? That "technically" Myprotein whey is cleaner?
>>
>>35771987
Also, NOW cost's over 3 times as much/serving. $0.60 for Myprotein Isolate, compared to $2.03 for NOW.

>>35772086
My point is that the argument
>NOW is the purest shit ever
then
>Myprotein has 21 protons per 90cal scoop while NOW sports has 25 protons per 110cal scoop
Is dumb af, when even by his own numbers, he's wrong.

Also, in the independant studies, Myprootein has an 87.6% concentration of bound protein, compared to NOW's 78.8%

I'm currently debating between getting myprotein or syntha-6.

In terms of calories/gram of protein, myprotein seems to win out. Same with cost.

But in terms of reviews(both on /fit/ and off of /fit/), I've heard nothing but good things about syntha-6's flavor.

Now I know a lot of people would call me a pussy, but I plan on using this as a meal replacement while I cut. I simply can't afford ~50 meals worth of protein for 25-40$ unless you count eggs.

Which does /fit/ recommend?

This shit is the literal god tier. It tastes much, much better than pretty much every other option.
>>
>>35772201
It's also got the most variety in flavors. Really, this is their secret to success.

Let's get real here. The first like 15 brands on labdoor.com's list prove that there really isn't that much difference.

The only thing to be concerned about is what it's made of. Are you lactose intolerant? Perhaps stay away from the whey. Etc.
>>
>>35775184
>>35775652
This actually does sound pretty good.

>>
Metrx Natural

they're the two cheapest and best quality for price
>>
>>35775755
>I have to use a memey egg white thing because dairy stuff never fails to give me acne and soy = titties
All of asia wouldn't have a sad lack of titties if that were actually true and not broscience. You know how much soy is in typical east asian diets? Fuck tons, way more than the most ridiculous supp-worshiping curlbro.
>>
>>35775801
It's a tough point for me because I already have slight moobs, and I DO eat like 20g soy protein a day, just use egg whites as my main thing.
>>
>>35775740
You're looking at ON's mass gainer.

Oats & Whey is 200 kcal and 24 g protons.

Not super lean but not terribad either, and it's extra carbs from oats, not whatever junk fillers other powders have.

I think I'll try it sometime this year. But unfortunately I just bought other powder, and considering I don't use much as it is, I probably won't be any powders again this winter.

Totally cool with me. There's nothing wrong with taking out soy and dairy, especially considering you're intolerant. Soy may not harm you as /fit/ likes to believe, but it certainly isn't going to help you either.

Just saying, I think /fit/'s obsession with anything that maybe slightly kind of points to possibly affecting their manboobs is ridiculous.
>>
>>35775648
Thank the Lord, it's like you can't fucking find a protein without sucralose now that's not a million bucks.
>>
>>35775864

I understand. Which is why I'm leaning towards MyProtein. I'm just worried I'm gonna buy something that I won't be able to swallow.

Also, for those who have tried it before, how is the difference between MyProtein regular and stevia? I've never tried stevia before. Hell I don't even know the upsides.
>>
>>35775526
Kill yourself. Tuna and chicken is cheaper. I honestly want to know where you live? Like in what country is whey protein cheaper then chicken and fish. Please reply for the love of god so I can move there.
>>
>>35776100

I live in rural USA. Chicken can vary from 3-4$ a pound. Once in a great while you get it at 1.5-2$ a pound, but that's rare.

At 3-4$ a pound, enough for 30 meals is almost the same as a 5 pound tub of protein. At 2$ a pound chicken is indeed cheaper.

I can't eat Tuna because I'm allergic to fish. Wish I could.

Lastly, I only go to town for food twice a month. I don't have freezer space for that much fucking chicken, and eating an entire chicken breast would make me fill fucking ill, compared to drinking 6-8 ounces of liquid.
>>
>>35771872
soybean protein isolate in bulk for me 44lbs $190 its not complete in the since that it lacks a little lysine but oats sure have tons and i eat that everyday so there is nothing wrong with it. Its the cheapest protein you can possibly get as far as i've found. Its an investment that will last about 2 years
>>

>>35777121

>>

Slav reportin. Chicken breast is 260RUB/kg here. So thats 260/180 = 1.45RUB/gram of protein, actually more if you account for the bone. Tuna is much more expensive. Last order of 10kg myprotein whey cost me 9100RUB shipping included, thats 9100/8000 = 1.14RUB/gram of prot. The only things cheaper than that are eggs if you go for yolks, or incomplete plant sources.

Use labdoor.com to make the choice yourself, also if you want to avoid sugar just get an unflavoured one and use milk or soy/oat/rice milk for flavouring instead.
>>
>>35777162
It's funny because in most cases whey protein is actually cheaper than dietary protein,
so those buying loads of meats are actually shilling out harder
>>
>>35776100
>11lbs myprotein whey $90 (NOT ACCOUNTING FOR CRAZY SALES)

Nobody should badmouth whey. Its an incredibly effective way of getting protein when you don't have the free time to go home and cook a meal or eat a prepackaged meal after a workout.
Its also good for supplementing your meals if you're not getting enough protein from it
