>be me at gym
>busy time 5-7, squat racks are filled with NYR.
>Bench press opens up, need to deadlift, load lmao1pl8
>start doing my deads, feels like lots of people are looking at meh.

Was there something wrong with doing that? Also doing low weight higher reps to get form down then increasing weight.

Dude, this is embarassing. How can you post that picture on here? No one was admiring your deadlifts. I know that's what you're thinking we're gonna think but just keep lifting, buddy. Just stick with it and don't worry about how weak you are right now. It shouldn't be a problem.
>>
>>35763320
It's all a plan to play hard to get
>>
>>35763415
>>35763379
Thanks for the redpill guys, that's why I love you fitizens.

I didn't think people were admiring my lifts at all, more just wasn't sure if that's okay / proper gym manners to use a bench bar for deadlifts when the usual area was busy.
>>
>>35763715
Yeah, it's proper gym manners. You gotta start dieting immediately. 500 cals below maitenence and then just see where that takes you in 4 months. Do hypertrophy training the entire time.
>>
>>35763715
don't call people fucking NYRs when you are one yourself you fucking faggot now get off my board bro, and by bro i mean never my bro.

don't post another photo of your body until you've been training 2 years because i don't have enough bleach for my fucking eyes.

now get back to it
>>
>>35763715
Here's the plan. Here's what 2016 has in store. We're doing this the right way.you will immediately drop 500 cals off of your maintenance and begin cutting. You will start a split called Monday: Shoulder Tuesday: Legs Wednesday: Steady State Cardio Thursday: Chest Friday: Back/Bis. You will do this the right way. You will gain at least 12 pounds of lean muscle mass while cutting at the same time by the end of the year. I want you looking lean, man. I want you taking your fish oils and creatine. Your diet will be fucking sharp, bro. Next up is schedule. Scientists have shown that sleep is the most important factor in training. You will wake up at 6:30 AM and go to bed at 10:30 PM. A casein shake will be immediately consumed at 10:20 PM. Good luck.

Can I do this but cut out 1000 cals a day?
>>
>>35763967
How much do you weigh? What height?
>>
>>35763939
Do this for 5-7 years and then hop on a starting dose of test. If you're going for pro status you need to get in contact with a local gymrat. 'Nuff said.
>>
>>35764029
Im asking if its feasible.

I weighed in at 300 pounds at 6 feet tall. I cut down to 185 doing cardio and a 1000 cal deficite. The problem being I exclusively did cardio and only weight trained once a week. I got injured and put 15 pounds back on.

So now im at 200, but its cutting season and didn't know if lifting plus a 1000 cal deficite is even worth doing.
>>
>>35764116
No, you're only 200 now. Just cut with -500 and save yourself the heartache. After your cut, you should have clean, tight abs. Lower teens in body fat. You should then slowly increase your calories until you're a few hundred (250-300) and slowly lean bulk. Make sure you take creatine and BCAAs as that will stave off muscle loss. When you're ready for lean, dense muscle you then begin using heavy weights which increase striations.
>>
>>35764158
Not trying to shot up the thread or be a sarcastic asshole, just asking questions.

I tried to lift for strength/stength endurance, I dont care if I look good, I care about performance. Being at a lighter weight helps a looooooot from what I know first hand last year so subconsciously I guess I just like getting the cutting out of the way. I do a lot of mud runs, I'm a placekicker in football, and a goalie in soccer.

Does this change cutting process at all, ir do you still just recommend taking it slow process if weight loss?

Ill try to find pics of my best and worst.

May 2015 185

Still lordosis as fuck but my cardio is (was;_;) phenomenal
>>
>>35764330
Cut the slow way. Be healthy by doing cardio. Shoot a ball, ride a bike, do some lawn work. And then focus your macros for performance goals. What are your lifts? Focusing on burning energy more will hwlp you with performance. Greg Nuckles said this. And yes, make sure to do this. Thise activites are all apart of your maitenence, -500 below is still -500 below even when you burn more calories and in turn consume more. Thanks. - Bill F. from Pittsburgh

Do you have psychological problems from the amount of weight you were carrying around? Any coping mechanisms you've used to help create a better atmosphere? - Bill F. from Pittsburgh
>>
>>35764444
Fat fuck former 300 pound here.

(At the height of training) We did circuit training and did things like run 1.25 miles. Do five pull ups after jumping onto a 9 foot bar. Do twenty two foot box jumps. Put 100 pounds worth of military sand bags on our shoulders and do 10 lunges then 10 squats. Overhead press a 45 pound plate 10 times. Rest for 2-5 minutes depending on heat (it gets up to 115 here)

4 rounds of this followed by a timed mile usually 7:00-8:00.

Later I'd work on core alone but I hated core work, tried to avoid it. Im a pussy and I admit I only train in what I like and it holds me back.

My lifts are garbage. Squat would have been around 180. Bench press, I never went above 140. Body weight deadlifts.

I never focused on bar work if I could find my log, im sure I'd embarrass myself more wuth my numbers. But I was cutting on 1700 net calories a day for a while so im sure it affected my strength.
>>
>>35764465
Im not sure honestly. I have body image problems now I think (thanks /fit/) I like to eat at buffets until I vomit. I dunno why. Its just a fulfilling thing for me downing 7 heaping plates.

I also was able to run 30-40 miles per week during my height when we weren't circuit training.

I love running. /Fit/ always talks shit on me for this when I post.
>>
>>35764465
Ive actually began to cope by telling myself whike training I'm doing this (grinding out really hard runs and stuff) for those who CAN'T not those who WON'T. There's tons of people born who will never experience the joy that I do just being able to move, while former fatties like I was are in the highest level of denial. I also cope by watching gladiator. My favorite movie.

My wife is overweight(not obese) it makes it tough. I do want to go to olive garden and get thai food etc but I dont have a healthy relationship with food. I can't stop once I start. Thats why staying vigilant during the cutting months is difficult for me.

I feel like im rambling. Thanks for listening though /fit/, im not really depressed since I started coming here. Besides looking like goo, my life has actually gotten better, tough training carried over to my personal/business life.

Thanks man.

I know we're on this worst part of the internet, but hopefully someone will come across this thread and get motivated to change their life.

Eh not exactly the roughest. But not an easy life. Shouldn't be alive 4 times over so that is a good part of motivation too.

Sometimes even though I know I can push through and do some amazing physical feats when im at my best, I feel...(inferior isn't the word but ill use it) inferior because I look bad but I'm putting up pretty great results in the mud runs I have competed in. But that also keeps me driven because I see myself as not "one of them"

I dunno. Can't explain it. Im rambling.
>>
>>35764446
There are these things called washing machines believe it or not.

I was shocked after learning how to use one after I moved out of my parents house. (Long story tl;dr I couldn't use my parent's because of sewage problems)
>>
>>35764673
I understand. I know how hard it can be. As a 15 year old I was 487 pounds. I literally just ate non-stop. Until I puked, until the ulcers were riddled with food. I had boils on my inner thighs, some stretching the entire legnth of the thigh. I'm glad to talk to someone who understands, as well. Now I'm a lean, shredded 247 pound juicehead who has multiple PL'ing championships. - Bill F. from Pittsburgh
>>
>>35764709
Thats awesome. Good on you man. Fucking A.

A part of me feels like I should train for strength, but in a way if I start gaining mass, acrobatic feats could get more difficult. Like...I was able to climb a 14 foot warped wall with ease pre injury. Post injury I needed help from 2 people when I got ballooned up.

I think I need to find a good middle ground, and be all around athletic vs just running forever. My big hoorah was an 8 mile run in 67:30. But what good is it if im weak? Lol
>>
>>35764709
And yeah. I know the eating endlessly mindlessly for hours. I worked at a pizza place and it wore me down. I got a free xl pizza and two liter of sierra mist plus free fountain drinks all night where I worked. Then I got home and played counter strike all night. 7000+ cals a day....I was gross.
