Currently 174 pounds, goal is 140ish pounds by summer, but I'd be happy to even get down to 150.

Hardest thing about cutting isn't the food, necessarily, its cutting out the booze. I like healthy foods; I have a sweet tooth but it's easier to resist than alcohol on weekends at parties.

I try to cook everything at home, I have a sensitive stomach so a lot of the stuff is clean.

Also FWIW, sitting all day is horrible for you regardless if you go to a gym. You should check out a standing desk that you can adjust so you don't _always_ need to stand, and take a small walk around once per hour.

I work in an office as well with like 90% of my work being done on a computer so I have to force myself to walk around.

Lost 40 pounds in 2 months doing 1500 calories and an hour of fairly intense jogging every day. pretty happy with my body, want to get my chest/delts a little bigger though

but I looked pretty DYEL at 140, body looks way better since I started eating more/lifting more weight: the key is finding a calorie range where you can make strength gains but minimize fat gain. my waist is still the same for example, but my arms, back, chest, and arms have all improved.

the mirror is the best guide imo, scale is just a reference.

Look up Lyle McDonalds PSMF (Protein Sparing Modified Fast). You will lose just as much weight (similar in calories) but you will look less like shit and likely to have a lot less issues when you go off that shit and eat normally

Calorie counts are pretty similar, maybe even less. But your eating protein and some essential fats, not a ton of carbs (the one macro your body can do without).

Look, we all want you to lose weight (except a few dicks and internet tough guys, see all the FPH threads, so anyway we can have 1 less fat person we'll take it). But you need to do that shit the right way if your going to cut that much.

You need to start building at least some basic healthy eating habits or your just going to balloon up when your done.

Pretty sure I'm fucking up. Fat as fatass (6'2 400) now just fat (280). I can't seem to even want to eat over 1000 calories a day.

I spend about an hour an a half in the gym six days a week mostly doing cardio but lifting as well. I'm only hungry for breakfast really, after that it's a fucking battle to even eat 1000 calories without feeling like puking.

Averaging 1350 for the last two weeks, fucking put on two lbs too. I have to assume it has to do with the fact I quit drinking after a long time of getting shitfaced daily and my is starting to synthesize protein normally again and rebuilding my muscles. Maintenance is about 3500 due to very active life style. Just to head off the "no it's not!" comments, I lift five times a week, commute to uni and work by bike only, and have a physical labor job. Currently cutting at my BMR of 2100 calories and it's not too bad with the food. The real problem is like >>35710576 said with the booze. I can eat as low as 1500 calories without much issue in ignoring the hunger, but the booze is what gets me. Especially if it's free or I'm bored at home with nothing to do.

can someone give me advice on how not to immediately pass out after binge eating a lot of calories?
i have this weight gainer protein powder that i mix into like 40 oz of whole milk and i add some peanut butter usually, and i blend it all together and drink it after i finish working out for maximum gainz
i calculated it once and i typically get like 2000 calories from that alone

but every time i finish the whole 40oz delicious chocolate protein peanut butter cocktail, i literally have to fight to stay conscious
my body starts slowly shutting down while it tries to process all the calories but it sucks because a lot of the time i still have more shit i need to eat to reach my calorie goals
how do fat people even stay conscious after they binge eat?

You should only really be trying to do one at a time. You're not overweight even if you have some fat on you, you should start bulking and lifting heavy right away. When you feel you have the muscle you want, then cut.

Eat more. Seriously. You're below suggested calorie intake for people doing no excercise at all. And if you're trying to lift heavy you'll end up feeling like shit and stalling all the time. If you want to gain lean mass - eat more.If you don't believe me - check scooby's calc.
