Deadlifts make your back, glutes, grip, and hamstrings strong. Leg extensions put a huge amount of shear force on your knee compared to other, better quad exercises, exercises that are already in this workout. Thoughts?

If you are a beginner aiming for linear progression I don't see why you don't just do SS+accessories instead. You don't have to do that many assistance exercises unless you are lagging behind on that particular body part. If you don't care about linear progression and just want size (a silly notion) you'd probably want more frequency, especially for the smaller muscle groups.

If you are an intermediate, well, I doubt you are.

Get rid of them. The shear stresses, constant tension on ACL, lack of hamstring co-contraction, and the imbalance of rectus to VMO firing....one of the worst exercises you can do imo.

Also why have 3x8 hammers in your back routine?
