The slingshot can be a pretty valuable tool for bludgeoning in correct form to people that tend to overflare or not get tight (read: beginners).

If you're weak a few inches off the chest (which isn't uncommon), the difference between an easy rep and a grinder is how fast you come off the chest. Doesn't take much of a difference to screw things up.

If you're weak right on the chest (rarer) you're either going to be through the sticking point without it mattering or the whole lift will go to shit.

She's the most competitive of the two, communegrill doesn't even know how to squat, I don't even think she's owns a bench lol

I would apply to that guy's gym, I think they would accept me and I would fit in, but I am in a tight situation all around and can't afford it.

I would appreciate your time in helping me to become a knowledgeable beginner that has high aspirations to become strong, has to do it solo in a really shitty rusty gym, and can't afford to get hurt as I lack medical insurance as a full time student/part time worker.

Download the second book called "bench specialisation manual."
It's short, only 16 pages long, 5 of which is worth your time reading.

The only thing it doesn't mention that helped me a lot is thinking about pushing your back against the bench as you press the bar up. Seriously try and push the bench into the ground.

i tried everything and my hips still shoot up first when i deadlift. i can max around 200 kg but my hips shoot up when i dl 130 kg for warmups and stuff, it makes my back look rounded on each set.. I've never had any lower back pain tho even tho i deadlift twice a week. I've been checking pete rubish deadlift videos and my back is in a similar position when it comes to rounding as his. Is it a matter of mobilty, are my hamstrings or hip flexors too tight? Should i switch to sumo or will i be fine if i continue doing conventional dl like this?

+3 for the paused-off-the-floor deadlifts. Candito mentioned in one of his videos that it reinforces the starting-position form. For now, I suggest deloading and using them as the primary movement for a while. I don't know what intensity you should try, but I use a 5x5 @ 75% as an accessory.
