Anyone else here try running their protein shake through an ice cream maker, or am I going crazy and discovered the best thing ever?

I do it during the summer. Drinking the shakes can get sickening if it's too warm, but ice cream is great in hot weather. Would recommend.

I just toss some ice cubes into my blender when i'm making my morning shake.

Strawberries
Banana
Peanut Butter
Milk
Ice
It's fucking delicious, tons of protein, and gets me going on the morning.

it's usually pretty filling too depending upon how much peanut butter I put in. The banana helps thicken it out too. Sometimes I put cinnamon or honey in as well for some extra flavor, but i'm still experimenting on that part.
I drink it on the 1/2 hour commute to work I take each day. Definitely fills me up.
Yeah, but I'm talking like legit, scoopable, ice cream consistancy. I'll add ice to my shake when I want it cooler, like during the summer or whatever. But I just added milk and a dash of cinnamon to enough protein powder to make it milkshake thick, then ran it through my ice cream maker, then let it harden a bit more in the freezer. Like you could scoop this shit.
