Lost one of the covers on pic related so I'm looking for new buds. These were ok, but the covers lost their fit after about a year
Need 1 pair for work, wired
Need 1 pair for gym/running, can be wired or wireless
>inb4 beats
Amazon preferred since I just got a fat health insurance rebate gift card

>be me
>my cable headphones break again like the 3rd time in like 1 year
>i say fuck it and order wireless earbuds
>its the best fucking thing i bought in the last couple of years
>no wire
>LIFTING without unplugging in earbuds because of the cable

This. Wireless are great for lifting and sound excellent as well these days.
>>35632610
even apple earbuds are better than this crap you posted, had one and hated it, then i bought a sony mdr rx 15 and loved it, good bass and clear highs, just unconfortable for more than 2 hours of use but fuck it i just use it to workout

Work as in desk work? audio technica ath-m50 or m50x, its been a while since I was in the market for headphones, but people used to foam at the mouth for these cans.
for the gym, get wireless cheapos, if you're a melter like me. Sweat gets in my ears and fucks with the audio quality.
>>35632674
Yes desk work, but I prefer ear buds. They seem more professional to me somehow--easier to take off when someone comes in my office, don't block sound of phone etc

JLab Epic work well for me

>Apple
Your opinion means nothing to me

how long is the cord? I would think i would want it to just caress the back of my head. Does it dangle down your neck/back?
>>35632700

What does /fit/ think about lifting with over ear headphones? I got a pair of ATH M50xs that I hardly ever use.

shill?
>>35632921
No? I've seriously got a pair of them and I hardly ever use them compared to my others. I'm just wondering if it's okay to wear big overear cans to the gym.
>>35632921
m50x is (was?) regarded as best bang for the buck, like Koss portapros, ksc75s, yuin pk3s, and hifiman re-0s.

I do for lack of a better alternative. I feel like "that guy" sometimes, but who actually gives a fuck? If it plays music and doesn't get in the way, go for it.

Cheap and good wireless shit:

24 dlls, good clear sound and overall good quality. Nothing beats them for the price. Have used them for 4 months and no problem at all. I break wire ones every 2-3 months.
>>35633017
those nerds are talking about spending 1,000 on headphones. fuck that noise, im trying to spend 30-100 absolute max
>>35633237
i might give these a go for my gym pair

http://www.amazon.com/August-Headphones-Rechargeable-Microphone-Smartphones/dp/B00N3UC444
these are good and sound on par with headphones that are 2x their price. i got them a few weeks ago
For regular laptop/sitting down stuff: ath-m50s
I've had mine since 2011 and still work great.
As for earbuds, I just broke my pair and bought a 12 dollar pair that was cheap and barely plays anything.
Now I'm considering wireless. Any good companies?
>>35633300
A friend of mine who is a musician recommended them to me, and most of the reviews are quite good. I've never had super expensive headphones, most of them have been in the 30-70 dlls range, and the soun quality of this cheap wireless is not behin them.
Bought them for the sole purpose of lifting. Cable lenght is good enough and this doesn't get in the way of the bar. I do powerlifting and just place my cellphone a few meters away and hit it.

>tfw my earbuds smell like shit
