I just realized that I can't stand the company of about 99% of my male peers. They're just so soft and listless. Now I don't claim to be the hardest motherfucker around, there are guys an order of magnitude harder than me, but I'm talking about the majority. No focus, no drive, no sharpness. No inner fire. They just float around, making no difference either way. Hanging around them only gets your own energy leeched off.
To make this /fit/ related, lifting heavy shit is a great initial cure. Worked tremendously for me.

I just started reading that book, well I suppose listening since it's an audiobook.
He talks overly manly but he makes some really good points. One that has happened to me/my friend group a lot in college is girls will like this one guy but almost every guy can tell something is off about him.

I mean one point he talked about in his books is how a group of guys can almost immediately tell if another guy will be part of the already established group. This is because of how guys judge other guys by if they would help their group "survive" or bring something to the table.
For instance this guy, is a talker, good with girls, average intelligence, decent looking. However almost ever single time he is brought up in conversation with a group of guys, it's almost unanimous that he rubs everyone the wrong way.
Turns out he never had a male friend growing up, was raised by his mother, and always had girl-friends(not gf but friends that are girls). So he is almost incapable of fitting in with guys but the girls don't notice because obviously if you're brought up around a certain group you will be able to talk to them easier.

I had male friends in school but I haven't had any successful male friendship since then and haven't been part of a male group as an adult. I'm solitary in general though partly because I have very low energy (auto-immune disorder).
