W-will I be able to make it if I go to the gym twice a week but have dumbbells at home?
We all gonna make it sooner or later brah.

With my current class schedule I can only make it to the gym twice a week... I have dumbbells at home so I can do less equipment oriented (OHP, curl, lunge) at home and more equipment oriented (bench press) at the gym.
Will 2x a week be enough? I've lifted before but I'm pretty much considered a beginner
if you think having dumbells at home and only doing to the gym twice a week is "maybe not enough" remember there are people getting more done with less. it's all you my man.

High weight, low rep. If you can't do that at home, fix it.

I have two dumbbells - each go up to 50 lbs.

That's plenty for a plethora.

Yeah, you should be able to get by. Do all your barbell stuff at the gym and do arm and shoulder workouts with the dbs at home.

Can anyone recommend a good dumbell workout?

1 rep max of a punching motion with the highest weight possible. That until it's 2 or 3 reps ..and raising the weight again.
Same for basically any motion you can't toss weight around for.
>Two times a week
do full body its perfect for a beginner.

DBs are best for biceps and shoulders, so imo you should do those at home and your two gym days should be chest/triceps and legs/back.
