how long did it take you to bench 2pl8? been lifting over a year now and still 20lbs off
can dl 330 and squat 290, which are more on track with where i wanna be, but my bench is lagging even though i put more effort into it relatively

I have been lifting for 1 year, probably 9 months seriously and i bench 192 for 3x5 so it should be quite normal for it to take more than a year to reach 2pl8
But since we are on /fit/ everyone will say they did it in 3 months

I've been on/off lifting for a while since I'm a piece of shit, but once I started lifting religiously for like 4-5 months I was able to get it
I lifted about a year or so and never got close but then I started taking 8 scoops per day while doing twice a days. 12 weeks later my bench hit 3 plates.
I'm new what's 2pl8 mean anyway?
