Acceptable isolations list by me:
Cable flyes/extensions
Lying triceps extensions
Core work- weighted crunches, hypertensions, etc
Leg Curls or GHRs
Bicep Curls
Lateral and front raises - I superset these
Heavy Shrugs
Isolations are part of any good advanced novice/intermediate/advanced lifters routine but should be at the end of the workout and only 1 or two of them per workout

Also an exercise similar to this forgot the name

Basically same form as lateral raises except you use cables to pull down instead of up. Can do straight arm or bent at 90 if you can use MMC to not use biceps.

If your knees are fucked the stay the fuck away from leg extension use the leg press or hack squat it's not worth The risk if your knees are shit
