It's honestly no problem at all. I use a razor like OP. Never cut myself and never felt like my balls were in danger. Just rinse them in hot water, add foam and go to town. Not sure why people are so paranoid about it.

Don't go against the grain. I've been shaving my sack for years with everything from shitty one blades to a mangroomer. The key is to go slow and smooth with the grain of the skin. You don't even need any kind of shaving cream or soap if you're careful.

Best razor for ballsack is something like a Mach 5 with lots of blades. A single blade is just asking for nicks. The gillete razors have a nice lubricating pad which really helps on loft skin. If you don't have shaving lotion, just lathering up a handsoap works well enough, but can leave your skin dry. Pull skin taut, make long strokes and avoid letting the razor slip sideways. I put a leg up on the toilet so everything is easier to reach/see. Best thing to do is to also shave your inner leg along with your balls so it doesn't itch as bad until it grows back in.
