Discuss husbando mode. Post pics of husbando ideals, routines, diet, aesthetics etc. Generally agreed on before was 13%-17% bodyfat, body built from barbell strength routine with accessories (Texas Method, MadCow, 5/3/1 BBB), hair is usually just slightly grown out although never long rather than shaved or buzzed evenly all over but this isn't a must have, facial hair is a must even if just some stubble, bodyhair should be grown out or trimmed but not shaved completely or waxed. Not necessarily gay but gaybros welcome. Twink, otter, bodybuilder modes are not husbando mode. No homo. Starting with Justin edition.

I just seem to respond better to it. Currently, I am doing 6x3 for the sake of volume accumulation. I just tend to respond way better to it, esepcially for pushes. My pullsups are of course higher, but I just seem to find my groove on sets of 3. Not sure if it is fatigue, if it mind set or what.

I actually read Paleo For Lifters by Lascek, and follow his general outline. Most of my diet is sweet potatoes, eggs, ground beef, an a fuck ton of salmon. I track macro and micros, and do fairly well at getting 200+g of protein per day, as well as staying lower on the carb end.

Depending how skinnyfat you are it could take longer. You can only gain about 10 pounds of muscle a year, and if you also need to cut fat then you will gain even less. It took me 2 years just to change my body composition from inactive skinnyfat to ottermode, no overall mass change. Now it will be another 3 years to gain mass to husband mode. /fit/ often forgets how much skinny fat slows down the progress because most guys on here start out as skinny and can go straight to mass building. However, it is still worth it to start the long journey regardless of how bad your skinnyfat is.

I'm 21 and will graduate this year from my law degree. I want to spend a year working on my body and working part-time, or full-time (only the latter if it's not so demanding). I want to work on intelligence gains in other areas that interest me too. Yeah, I know, and I don't have the hair to be husbando mode anyway. In the long-term, I just want to be healthy and fit, and a nice body will hopefully accompany that. Given the assignments I'm doing now and the ones coming up, I seriously have very little time to spare. I also have no money to spend on gym membership. I'd like to devote full attention to it and that'll hopefully happen post-graduation, plus it'd mean that I can sustain interest rather than abandon it with any lame excuses.

I don't. I have got some dumbbells, but I can only do about 12 bicep curls for about 7.5kg. Bearing in mind I'm a complete skelly, it's progress for me as I used to just do 4kg. After some workouts, I feel dead, usually with my arms. What frustrates me is the lack of space to do pushups, and that I can't plank for very long at all. I do like hip thrusts and leg raises though.

I started out with just 40 minutes a day, as soon as I got up, and noticed some improvements after about three weeks but then had to cut it short before winter because of assignments.

Even a 40 min day habit will make a difference from skelly mode. I recommend trying out to see if you can fit it back into your schedule and try your best to maintain it. Yes it would, especially if you're skelly. Noob gains are easy to get, and some simple push ups (50 or until exhaustion) when you wake up will give you more of chest within a few weeks. Combine it with the dumbbells and you will at least get a bit more muscle. From normie standard it will show, and it's better for you to exercise a bit than to be a potato, even if you can't go all the way yet.

I'm somewhere north or south of 180cm, I haven't actually measured in a while.
In that pic I was around 172lbs I think and I'm trying to get 185+ before summer starts. Routine was SL5x5 for about a year before I stalled on all the lifts then I switched over to Candito's 6 week program for a few cycles. Right now I'm doing a modified version of SL that increases sets and reps from 3x3 to 5x8. My legs respond better to squatting 3 times a week versus just twice. Hoping on GOMAD as soon as my rep scheme reaches 5x5

BS... you're just not cramming enough food down your throat. It's the exact flip side of the fat girls who claim they eat healthy all the time and just "can't lose weight" while they are sipping on a 3,000 cal coffee drink the size of a mini-beer keg.

No I have enlarged liver, so I get the runs every two days when I bulk. GOMAD has helped but I fucked it up by eating too much solids from time to time and lost the weight again.
