I'm convinced a lot of severe acne is DHT based too. Severe acne only occurred in areas of new hair growth, and DHT binding to follicle = new body/facial hair growth. Topical DHT blockers on problem areas could theoretically reduce/prevent steroid acne (unless your estro is whack). From what I've noticed estrogen acne is really small and sporadic, while DHT acne is localized on shoulders, chest, upper back, and lower half of face/neck.
