I wouldn't give it to a Lion easily, but you have to look at the behaviours dynamics and stats as well as just hands vs claws.
Male Lions are ambush predators and generally grow to be a little larger and heavier than your average gorilla too, but the same ballpark- if it gets a good sneak attack in I wouldn't give a gorilla long.
Gorillas are evolved for hunting and killing plants which is why they have stubby teeth, small mouths, and no claws- their only real "weapons" are punching and pummelling, compared to a Lion which has evolved for millions of years with knives in its paws specifically for tearing into the limbs of large herbivores (including 2 ton bulldozers like Hippos and fucking Rhinos) with the instincts for chasing and murdering fleeing prey (like the gorilla, the first instinct of which when faced with a predator would likely to be fleeing).
Not to mention, while not really having regular predators to speak of, Gorillas in the wild are actually known to be killed by leopards, which are legitimately half the size and weight of Lions.

But speed still won't save someone from a lion. They would have to be the apex of strength, speed, tactics, and size to be able to take down a lion bare-handed. It depends on where it is. Someone like Hafthor may be able to survive a slash to the stomach because of higher body fat and muscle protecting the vital organs. A lion's claws are about four inches, and I think that - if he didn't bleed out before then - he could handle it. A slice or bite to the neck of which lions are fond, not so much. If he could keep his neck safe I think he could do it; with the provided training of course.
